Making Single Photo Private on Facebook on Desktop 


  1. Log in to your Facebook profile.
  2. Click on your profile on the left side of the Facebook page.
  3. Click on the Photos tab.
  4. Select the photo category, for eg. , Your Photos, Photos of You, Albums.Photos and photo category tabs on Facebook
  5. Click on the photo that you want to make private.

Making an Album Private on Facebook on Desktop 


  1. Log in to your Facebook profile.
  2. Click on your profile on the left side of the Facebook page.
  3. Click on the Photos tab.
  4. Select the photo category “Albums”.

  6. Click on the three dots at the top right of the album cover.
  7. Select Edit Album.

  2. Tap on the three horizontal bars on the top right (for Android) and the bottom right (for iPhone) of Facebook.
  3. Tap on your name.

  5. Select the photo category, for eg. , Your Photos, Photos of You, Albums.
  6. Click on the photo that you want to make private.
  7. Tap on the three vertical dots on the top right of the post.

Making Album Private on Facebook App


  1. Log in to your Facebook profile.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal bars on the top right (for Android) and the bottom right (for iPhone) of Facebook.
  3. Tap on your Name.
  4. Click on the Photos tab.
  5. Select the photo category “Albums”.
  6. Click on the album that you want to make private.

  3. Tap on your Name.
  4. Click on the Photos tab.
  5. Select the photo category, for eg. , Uploads, Mobile Uploads, Albums.
  6. Click on the photo that you want to make private.

  10. Select “Only me” under Privacy.

Making Album Private on Mobile Browser


  1. Log in to your Facebook profile.

  3. Tap on your Name.
  4. Click on the Photos tab.
  5. Select the photo category “Albums”.
