2. If the owner/creator has left the group positively and you are the admin.

Steps to Delete a Facebook Group

Deleting Facebook Group using Facebook App 

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Click on the three horizontal bars on the top right (for Android) or bottom right (for iPhone) of your home page.
3. Go to Groups.
4. Click on the “Your Groups” tab.
5. Tap on the badge icon on the top right of the group.
6. Click on Members. You can find the list of members in the group.
7. Click on the three vertical dots next to the name of each member.
8. Select “Remove member”.
9. Click on “Confirm”.
10. Repeat the process for each member until you are the only member left.
11. Go back.
12. Scroll down till you find “Delete Group”.
13. Click on “Delete Group”.

Deleting Facebook Group using a Browser on Desktop

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Click on Groups on the left side of the Facebook page.
3. Search for the group you want to delete under “Groups you manage”.
4. Go to the group.
5. Tap on “Members” under the name of the group.
6. Click on the three vertical dots next to the name of every member.
7. Select “Remove member”.
8. Tap on “Confirm”.
9. Repeat the process for each member until you are the only member left.
10. Click on the three vertical dots next to your name.
11. Click on “Leave Group”.
12. Select “Delete Group” in the dialog box that pops up.
